My very good friend and colleague Dr Adam Cardilini recently invited me to appear on his radio show/podcast on Melbourne’s 3CR Radio. Adam and I did our PhD's together at Deakin University's Centre for Integrative Ecology and have spent many a long evening putting the world to rights while chatting and pretending to play banjo and guitar. The show Freedom of Species is dedicated to raising awareness of issues concerning animals this includes advocacy, activism, protection, conservation and appreciation. The show is broadcast from the 3CR studios in Melbourne and streamed live via the 3CR website. I spent a good long while chatting with Adam, mostly about elephant conservation work in Myanmar and the poaching crisis Asian elephants are facing.
